Corporate Trainer

About This Role

This role is for a corporate trainer who will coach, train, and mentor associates in the building materials industry. It suits a candidate who enjoys building, teaching, and molding new talent.

Responsibilities

• Develop training curriculum
• Teach and coach new associates
• Schedule associates' training modules
• Schedule key vendor product demonstrations
• Develop continuing education programs for associates
• Evaluate new employees' progress
• Perform some HR responsibilities and onboarding

Requirements

• Background in the building materials industry preferred
• Extensive product knowledge in steep slope and low slope roofing materials preferred
• Possess strong leadership qualities
• Strong sales skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Google, and Zoom
• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit; be self-motivated and enthusiastic about the business
• Have excellent customer service skills, management skills, and attitude
• Be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel
• Be dependable and have a current state-issued driver -s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Be legally entitled to work in the United States
• Be able to pass a company-required drug test
