About This Role
This corporate trainer role involves developing, delivering, and implementing consistent training systems across all restaurant locations and additional concepts as needed. The trainer ensures teams are equipped to deliver high standards of guest service and food quality, working closely with training and operations teams to align goals and improve company performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage restaurant training programs and initiatives, directly supporting the successful design, development, implementation, maintenance, tracking, and promotion of educational programs, initiatives, materials, and tools
- Maintain current knowledge of restaurant operations and systems, including new or upgraded systems, policies and procedures, new products, and initiatives to serve as a credible training consultant
- Support the restaurants by ensuring the highest levels of training standards across all locations
- Serve as an ambassador of the Kerbey Lane brand, exemplifying core values and demonstrating excellent communication and leadership at all levels
- Conduct and document training restaurant visits to evaluate operational effectiveness
- Exercise good judgment in decision making
- Remain calm and demonstrate a well-developed sense of urgency in high-pressure situations
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating and upholding values, as well as holding self-accountable to high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
Requirements
- Self-starter, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects
- History of being seen as trustworthy by leadership
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems and able to adapt to new systems quickly
- Open availability, able and willing to work all shifts when business is open
- Transportation required throughout Central Texas
