We are representing a prestigious, global law firm that is seeking an associate with 3+ years of private equity transactional experience to join their Corporate M&A practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney with experience in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, private equity funds, and financial institutions. The associate will work on complex transactions, providing high-quality legal services and collaborating with a robust national corporate practice.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on private equity transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and portfolio management.
- Provide efficient legal service both independently and as part of a team.
- Collaborate with other team members in the execution of complex transactions.
- Provide the highest quality of client service and contribute to professional development in an on-track partnership position.
Qualifications
- JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Must be admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
- 3+ years of M&A and private equity transactional experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.
Compensation
This position is bonus eligible.
