Corporate English Trainer

About This Role

As a Corporate English Trainer, you will play a strategic role in strengthening communication capabilities across the organization. You will assess English proficiency, design scalable learning programs, deliver engaging training, and help employees build the confidence to collaborate effectively with international clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured English proficiency assessments across the organization.
• Establish competency frameworks, proficiency benchmarks, and development pathways aligned with business needs.
• Identify capability gaps and recommend targeted learning interventions.
• Define measurable learning objectives and evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and learner outcomes.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to integrate English capability into recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
• Design, develop, and continuously improve Business English learning programs for employees across different proficiency levels.
• Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual training focused on business and client-facing communication, speaking confidence, workplace collaboration, presentation, and meeting skills.
• Facilitate workshops, speaking clubs, role-play simulations, and other interactive learning activities.
• Recommend digital learning resources and self-directed learning tools to encourage continuous development.
• Foster a culture of continuous English learning across the organization.
• Collaborate with business leaders, HR, and Learning & Development to align learning initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and progress updates to learners and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve programs based on learner feedback, assessment data, and evolving business requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience delivering Business English or corporate English training.
• Proven experience conducting English proficiency assessments and designing structured learning programs for adult learners.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Near-native or CEFR C1/C2 English proficiency (or equivalent).
• Experience working within multinational organizations or technology environments is highly desirable.

Nice to have:

• Certifications such as TESOL/CELTA/TEFL.
• Additional certifications in Business English, Corporate Learning, Adult Education, Instructional Design, or Learning & Development will be considered an advantage.

Important Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with training sessions typically delivered during 7:30–9:30 AM and 7:30–9:30 PM.
• Working time includes a combination of live training sessions, lesson preparation, learner assessments, coaching, curriculum development, and continuous program improvement.
