Corporate Counsel

About This Role

This Corporate Counsel role provides comprehensive legal support across various corporate functions, assisting, advising, investigating, and resolving legal matters to ensure the company's operations are compliant and legally sound. It focuses on supporting all phases of product development.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and support across cross-functional teams including Product Development, Corporate Strategy, IT, Security and Marketing to obtain alignment between product functionality, commercial requirements, and legal compliance, and ensure that contractual terms align with company policies and objectives
• Analyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies, including IP, privacy, AI, and advertising laws, and support responsible teams with implementation
• Draft/review agreements, amendments, and commercial terms to support Company’s strategic plan and product functionality, while minimizing risk exposure
• Draft/review vendor or partner agreements involving product integrations
• Review and advise on UX designs and marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws
• Maintain excellent partnerships with internal clients to meet their legal and business needs

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in product development and technology law including at an in-house legal department
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to bar in a U.S. state and in good standing with the relevant bar association(s) in the US state(s) where licensed to practice law
