Corporate Counsel

About This Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an In-house Corporate Counsel to join a rapidly growing legal team within a leading international environmental consultancy. You will play a key role in delivering strategic acquisitions, investments and corporate projects while working alongside senior stakeholders in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of domestic and international M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructurings
• Advise senior business leaders on corporate legal matters and strategic growth initiatives
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documents and related corporate agreements
• Manage legal due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisers where required
• Support post-acquisition integration activities and wider corporate governance matters across the group

Requirements

• A solicitor or equivalent with 4+ years' PQE gained within a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment
• Experienced in corporate law with strong exposure to M&A transactions
• Comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously within a fast-paced commercial environment
• Capable of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a large and diverse business
• Commercially minded with excellent drafting, negotiation and project management skills
