- Write on-creative copy for static posts, including headlines, subheads, and supporting lines on the design itself
- Write carousel copy, slide by slide, with an opening hook and a line to carry the reader to the next slide
- Write reel hooks, scripts, voiceovers, and on-screen text
- Write captions and story text for every social media format
- Write all social media content in the brand's established voice for the specific audience

- Comfort writing in Indian English that sounds native, not translated or borrowed from American templates
- Ability to write simply with short sentences, plain words, and feeling without decoration
- Range to write in different tones for various brands on the same day
- A feel for on-creative copy, understanding word limits for statics, where carousels lose people, and what a hook needs to achieve in the first two seconds
- The habit of writing to a specific person, not a demographic
- Discipline with a brief, writing what was asked for, in the specified voice, and at the set length
- Speed with accuracy, recognizing that agency timelines are real and deadlines do not move
- Working knowledge of how Meta and Google ads are structured and why copy behaves differently in each
