Responsibilities

• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, grammar, style, and adherence to guidelines
• Serve as the point of contact for clients; manage communication, feedback, and delivery
• Train new team members and freelancers on editing standards, tools, and best practices
• Ensure quality control, fact-checking, and adherence to medical/scientific standards
• Coordinate with internal teams to streamline workflows and improve efficiency
• Copy-edit efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in editing, preferably in medical or scientific publishing
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Impeccable grammatical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Leadership skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Proficiency in desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office suite
• Sharp eye for detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work quickly without compromising quality
• Strong online research skills
• Ability to adjust to changing editing guidelines
• Experience in medical or scientific publishing
• Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts
