Coordinator Higher Education Enrolments

About This Role

Coordinating higher education enrolments, the role leads the university's enrolment function, ensuring accurate, compliant, and student-focused services across all campuses and delivery modes. Beyond day-to-day operations, the coordinator identifies opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the student experience by interpreting policy, investigating challenges, developing solutions, and leading implementation. This position is ideal for someone who balances operational delivery with problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and service improvement, while delivering high-quality outcomes for students and the University.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University's enrolment function
• Ensure accurate, compliant, and student-focused enrolment services
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and the student experience
• Independently interpret policy
• Investigate operational challenges
• Develop practical solutions
• Lead the implementation of improvements that enhance efficiency, compliance, and service quality
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to staff involved in enrolment activities
• Act as the subject matter expert for enrolment matters
• Build capability through training, guidance, and support
• Maintain oversight of data integrity, compliance, reporting, and risk management activities
• Contribute to planning and decision-making through analysis, sector insights, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to independently interpret policies and apply sound logic to resolve complex enrolment challenges
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and influence staff and stakeholders to achieve consistent, high-quality outcomes
• Experience identifying operational challenges and developing practical solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and customer outcomes
• Strong continuous improvement mindset, with experience reviewing processes, implementing change, and driving service enhancements
• Experience managing competing priorities, projects, and operational deadlines within a complex environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build relationships and communicate complex information to diverse audiences
• Advanced proficiency in student administration systems, as well as data analysis and reporting tools
