The Cook Specialist I assists in planning, preparing, cooking, and serving meals; ensures proper portion control and compliance with health and safety regulations; maintains cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas; helps plan nutritious, cost‑effective menus; receives and stores food deliveries; and prepares emergency meals as needed.
