We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring food quality aligns with our established recipes and procedures. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools.
- Assist with menu planning and food preparation to meet daily service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and safety standards during production.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service.
- Support catering events or special meal requests as needed, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant cook, or culinary assistant.
- Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production.
- Skilled in food handling techniques including slicing, chopping, and portioning using proper knife skills.
- Experience with meal preparation, recipe adherence, and operating various kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and team members.
