Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist

About This Role

This role exists to bring dedicated conversion optimisation expertise to a product team focused on turning website traffic into measurable business results. The specialist will dig into user behaviour data, identify where the experience is losing people, and design tests to prove what fixes it.

Responsibilities

• Dig into user behaviour data
• Identify where the experience is losing people
• Design tests that prove what fixes user experience issues
• Run a full audit of the conversion funnel in the first six months
• Prioritise the highest-impact optimisation opportunities
• Deliver at least one A/B test cycle with clear, reportable results
• Translate test results into actionable recommendations

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience in an e-commerce or digital product environment
• Proven ability to design, implement and analyse A/B and multivariate tests
• Strong analytical skills with experience working across tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely or equivalent
• Experience collaborating with design and development teams to implement UX improvements
• Clear, confident communicator

Nice to have:

• Background in UX research or user journey mapping
• Familiarity with personalisation tools and segmentation strategies
• Experience with heatmapping, session recording and funnel analysis tools
