Join our innovative manufacturing team as a Controls Engineering Technician and be at the forefront of industrial automation and robotics! Duties
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLC systems, including ladder logic (LD) programming and distributed control systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and repair industrial robotic systems such as Fanuc robots, ensuring precise robot programming and integration with other automation equipment.
- Develop and modify HMI configurations to facilitate operator interaction with complex machinery and control processes.
- Diagnose electrical issues by reading and interpreting electrical schematics, industrial electrical systems, and control panel layouts.
- Support robotics engineering projects by assisting with robot programming, tooling setup, and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing strategies that improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct industrial equipment troubleshooting, including vision inspection systems and industrial network communication issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with a focus on controls or automation.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (including ladder logic), PLC troubleshooting, and installation/repair of PLC systems.
- Familiarity with industrial robotic systems such as Fanuc or similar brands; experience with robot programming is highly desirable.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot human-machine interface (HMI) systems for operational control.
- Knowledge of industrial networks, distributed control systems (DCS), and industrial automation protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, mechanical assembly, and SolidWorks CAD software is a plus.
- Experience working with vision inspection systems or other advanced manufacturing technologies is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis; able to perform engineering troubleshooting efficiently.

Pay: $33.00 - $39.00 per hour
