About This Role
The Controller supports corporate management through sound analyses, meaningful key figures, and business recommendations. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to actively drive the optimization of processes, systems, and reporting structures.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate monthly financial statements and derive suitable measures
- Create, develop, and evaluate key figures, reports, and forecasts
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost controlling
- Analyze purchasing key figures, price developments, and savings potential
- Further develop reporting and controlling instruments
- Participate in the optimization of BI, ERP, and data analysis systems
- Identify and implement automation and digitalization potentials
- Conduct profitability and ad-hoc analyses
- Analyze operational key figures from logistics and transport
Requirements
- Completed degree with a focus on business administration, finance, controlling, or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in controlling, accounting, or finance
- Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with BI tools and ERP systems
- Proficient in handling large amounts of data and complex analyses
- Strong understanding of numbers and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to derive concrete recommendations for action from data
- Interest in digitalization, AI, and process automation
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards various stakeholders
