Control Room Operator

About This Role

Controlling the transfer, storage, dosing, and mixing systems for materials, including molasses and all transfer systems up to bagging, is the main task of this role. The operator ensures timely delivery of defect-free products by maintaining safe and efficient operations, working in a plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the materials transfer and storage system safely, efficiently, and properly
• Operate the dosing and mixing system, molasses dosing, and all transfer systems up to bagging
• Ensure timely delivery of defect-free products

Requirements

• Preferably a college graduate with a mechanical, electrical, or electronics background, or at least a vocational graduate in the same field
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing
• Experience in operating SCADA systems or related control room/operations is an advantage
• Computer literate
• Ability to organize activities and personnel as per plan
• Good communication and listening skills
• Capability of working for long durations and under pressure situations
• Willingness to work on rotational shifts
• Ability to make good decisions and provide sound solutions whenever needed
