Control Room Operator

About This Role

The Control Room Operator monitors security systems and manages incidents for a finance client's corporate site in the CBD. This role is part of a four-person team and involves a mix of day and night shifts, suiting someone with strong communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarms
• Manage incidents and events, including emergency situations where support and guidance are required
• Answer and respond to all incoming calls for both regular and emergency calls
• Assist with all incident reporting with the Site Manager
• Use standard computer systems such as the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Microsoft Word

Requirements

• Holder of a current NSW Security Licence
• Control Room Endorsement
• Excellent communication skills

Important Details

• Schedule: 24/7 fixed 4-week rotating roster with 12-hour shifts; mix of days and nights
• Team: 4, reporting to the Security Manager
