About The Role We are looking for an experienced Control Engineer to design and deliver Building Automation and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) control systems for large-scale building and infrastructure projects. This role involves developing technical designs, coordinating with project stakeholders, and supporting project delivery from design through site implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, Lighting Control, and ELV control systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Produce Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates.
- Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and contractor proposals.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Participate in technical meetings and project reviews.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Control, Telecommunication, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Control or ELV Engineering.
- Experience designing Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, Lighting Control, or Automation Systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards and building services.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- BEM or MBOT registered.
- Experience with Revit or BIM software.
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.
