About the role
Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Contracts Attorney for a temporary remote opportunity.
Our client is seeking a collaborative, business-minded attorney to provide coverage for approximately three months beginning in mid-September. This attorney will work closely with a small in-house legal team and assist with a variety of commercial contract matters in a fast-paced environment.
This role is fully remote, and candidates may be located and licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
- Redline contracts and assist with contract management processes
- Monitor and respond to inquiries within a shared legal inbox
- Partner with legal team members to provide timely support to internal stakeholders
- Assist with day-to-day legal operations and other contract-related projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Active bar license in any U.S. state
- Prior experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive and adaptable attitude
- Ability to handle both routine and complex contract matters
- In-house and/or fintech experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Duration:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Approximately 3-month assignment
- Anticipated start date in mid-September to early October
- Fully remote
