2. About the Opportunity
The Contractor Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the contractor referral pipeline and overseeing the onboarding and training of approved contractors. This role ensures the growth and quality of the contractor network, which directly influences customer satisfaction and operational timelines. The position supports the Contractor Relations Team by facilitating smooth contractor integration and maintaining high standards for contractor readiness.

3. Responsibilities

  • Manage the referred contractor pipeline, evaluating and advancing contractors based on business, operational, legal, and compliance criteria.
  • Oversee and improve the contractor onboarding process to enhance quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate contractor training and orientation to ensure readiness for work.
  • Act as the main contact for contractors during onboarding, resolving issues and coordinating internally.
  • Manage contractor integration into required systems and tools, ensuring operational compliance.
  • Analyze onboarding data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Negotiate contractor pricing and contract terms within established guidelines.
  • Develop and update onboarding procedures and best practices.

4. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in onboarding, business development, or pipeline management.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes with attention to detail.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-growing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Interest in a climate-focused career.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience with contract or pricing negotiations.
