Continuous Improvement Manager

About This Role

Leading and sustaining operational excellence across manufacturing operations is the core of this role, which focuses on identifying, prioritizing, and executing improvement initiatives. The Continuous Improvement Manager will enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance throughout the design, fabrication, assembly, and testing of custom-built control packages. This position suits a results-driven individual with a strong background in manufacturing operations and a proven track record of leading successful improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability
• Analyze company processes and procedures
• Develop process enhancement strategies
• Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes
• Establish norms and standards of company performance
• Monitor staff performance and organizational processes
• Lead the manufacturing engineering team to execute projects in an efficient manner
• Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and simulation tools
• Manage the estimation of production costs, effectivity, and efficiency
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production and facility equipment and machinery
• Implement strategies to improve quality and productivity
• Coordinate with design engineering and manufacturing teams on product launch activities
• Ensure compliance with industry safety and design standards and guidelines
• Develop operational budgets and control costs within budget
• Keep abreast with latest manufacturing technologies and systems to improve processes
• Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes and procedures
• Analyze manufacturing data and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage and lead a team of manufacturing engineers
• Collaborate with design engineers to develop new product prototypes and enhancements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
