Content Manager

About This Role

We are seeking retail and ecommerce professionals with hands-on expertise in product imagery and content production at scale. This role involves sharing your expertise on photography planning, studio management, post-production workflows, image review processes, vendor management, and operational optimization. Your insights will help us understand end-to-end content workflows, identify operational bottlenecks, and explore opportunities for cost efficiency and quality enhancement. This is a flexible consulting engagement that can be completed alongside full-time employment. Time commitment is based entirely on your availability and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage product imagery and content production for ecommerce channels at retail organizations.
• Plan, organize, and execute photography and studio operations for product shoots.
• Select, manage, and collaborate with photography studios and suppliers.
• Oversee post-production workflows, image editing, optimization, and quality control.
• Review, approve, and manage product image assets and content libraries.
• Evaluate and implement tools, platforms, and vendors for image management and production.
• Understand costs, budgets, performance metrics, and ROI for product imagery operations.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and product teams on content requirements and strategy.

Requirements

• Relevant experience or advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in ecommerce operations, product content management, merchandising, or photography/studio management at retail organizations.
• Hands-on experience managing end-to-end product imagery workflows at scale highly valued.
• Understanding of ecommerce best practices, product photography standards, and content optimization.
