About This Role
This is a hands-on, generalist marketing role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and execution. You will drive activity across key marketing channels, focusing on audience acquisition and retention through meaningful content and broader communications initiatives. The role involves shaping audience strategy, creating compelling content, building and optimising campaigns, analysing performance, and turning ideas into action.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling content across channels, including social, customer case studies, press releases, reports, and other brand content
- Plan, write, build, and optimise regular audience communications, including segmentation, testing, QA, and performance analysis with the data team
- Identify opportunities to evolve audience activation through lifecycle communications, re-engagement, and other targeted initiatives
- Support product marketing initiatives by translating product launches and updates into clear, engaging communications for customers
- Support brand collaborations, partnership campaigns, and other growth projects as they arise
- Work closely with Product, Growth, and other teams to turn ideas and insights into effective marketing campaigns
- Bring a generalist mindset to a small, fast-moving team, balancing planned activity with ad-hoc projects and changing priorities
Requirements
- 4–5 years’ experience in content marketing, lifecycle/CRM, or a similar generalist marketing role
- A strategic mindset combined with a strong bias towards execution; you can develop the strategy and then get into the detail to make it happen
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt your voice for different audiences and channels
- Confidence using AI tools to accelerate research, drafting, editing, and content production while maintaining a high standard of quality
- Hands-on experience with any email platforms such as Mailgun, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Braze, or similar would be favourable
- Experience with CMS platforms and digital marketing tools
- Working knowledge of SEO/AEO and analytics platforms such as GA4, Search Console, or similar would be helpful but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage recurring campaigns alongside ad-hoc projects in a fast-moving environment
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to get stuck in; this is a role where priorities can shift and no two weeks will look exactly the same
- An interest in a purpose-led business and social impact is critical
Benefits
- Superannuation and benefits
- Forward-thinking culture
- Opportunity to make a real impact
- Plenty of room to experiment
