Content Manager

About This Role

This founding creative role focuses on running end-to-end content campaigns and producing AI-driven video for an agency building AI-native commerce platforms. The position involves creative direction, search optimization for both traditional engines and AI assistants, and eventually leading a small team.

Responsibilities

• Run content campaigns end to end for Retail Reinvented and client brands: hypothesis, production, launch, measurement, iteration
• Produce and edit short-form and long-form video using AI tooling, directing the output while tools execute
• Build content that ranks in traditional search and gets retrieved and cited by AI assistants, optimized for structured data, entity clarity, citable claims, and machine parsing
• Set the visual standard across brands with different identities, write briefs, define the look, and maintain quality
• Grow into directing a small pod of contractors, creators, and eventually client-side teams, writing playbooks for others to run

Requirements

• A real eye for quality, with the ability to articulate why one version is better than another
• Fluency with AI production tools, having shipped real work through them and understanding their limitations
• Strong reasoning ability to think from first principles about content strategy
• Drive to own outcomes and ship sharp work quickly
• Ability to provide clear direction for others to produce work
• Los Angeles based, on-site in Los Angeles
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant work; formal credentials are not required
