About This Role
Creating engaging visual and video content to boost brand awareness and engagement is the core of this Content Creator role. The position involves planning, producing, and editing content, and suits a creative individual who is aware of current social media trends.
Responsibilities
- Provide weekly/monthly content calendars according to the company's marketing strategy
- Generate fresh, relevant, and trending creative ideas
- Record high-quality videos and take photos of company products/services
- Act as talent or presenter in videos if required
- Prepare concise scripts, storytelling, and engaging captions (basic copywriting)
- Edit short videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
- Ensure visual quality, audio, transitions, and subtitles meet company standards
- Upload/schedule content on social media platforms consistently
- Monitor engagement (likes, comments, shares) and viewer feedback
- Analyze content performance and provide brief reports for improvement suggestions
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Creative Media, Film/Video, or related field (new graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Proficient in video editing applications (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro)
- Proficient in basic design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator)
- Confident in front of the camera (camera-friendly) and possesses good communication skills
- Creative, independent, and able to complete tasks within set deadlines
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube algorithms and trends
