About This Role
This role involves overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring projects adhere to specifications and quality standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders. The position suits a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills who can manage subcontractors and maintain project progress.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
- Monitor subcontractors' performance and workmanship
- Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Attend site meetings and technical discussions
- Resolve site issues and technical problems
- Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Raise and close inspections (IR/RFI)
- Rectify defects and ensure proper workmanship
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations
- Conduct site safety inspections
- Ensure workers wear proper PPE and follow safe work procedures
- Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress
- Ensure project milestones are achieved
- Report delays and recommend corrective actions
- Order and monitor construction materials
- Check material quality upon delivery
- Coordinate equipment and manpower requirements
- Prepare Daily Site Report
- Prepare Progress Report
- Prepare Method Statement
- Prepare Inspection Request (IR)
- Prepare Material Submission
- Prepare As-built Drawings
- Maintain proper project records
- Interpret construction drawings
- Solve technical issues on site
- Coordinate drawing revisions with consultants
- Monitor material usage

- Assist with subcontractor claims and project budgeting
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work on-site and manage multiple subcontractors
- Diploma / Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Construction / MEP or equivalent
- Well versed in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Naviswork and BIM Authoring Tools like Revit
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Architectural / Electrical & Mechanical BIM Models related projects in Singapore
- Fluency with collaboration and data management solutions like BIM Collaborate Pro and BIM 360 Docs
