Construction Superintendent

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction supervision, field management, or a closely related role
• Strong working knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices, materials, and installation methods
• Demonstrated ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate multiple active construction projects
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and job-site responsibilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, crews, subcontractors, and management
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship and thorough project completion
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, measurements, specifications, and installation requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in the field
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and applicable building regulations
• Proficiency with smartphones, email, and digital project management tools
• Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle for travel between job sites
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned service territories
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and navigate active construction sites safely

Nice to have:

• 2–4+ years of construction experience, including supervisory or field leadership responsibilities
• Experience overseeing fencing, decking, siding, exterior renovations, or general construction projects
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor crews simultaneously
• Familiarity with residential and commercial permitting, inspections, and building code requirements
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Experience using construction project management software
• Experience working in a fast-paced construction environment with multiple concurrent projects
