Construction Site Manager - Office / Renovation Work

About This Role

This construction site management role involves overseeing renovation projects from an office setting, ensuring they proceed according to plan, safely, and smoothly. It suits a construction professional who can manage various aspects of construction, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are completed efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects for a listed group, providing a platform to gain extensive experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with relevant parties, including local residents, government agencies, and designers
• Conduct quality control by checking finishes based on design drawings and specifications, and managing corrections
• Manage costs by reviewing outsourcing and material expenses to avoid deficits
• Coordinate with partner companies and craftspeople, adjusting work schedules daily and by trade, and establishing reporting systems
• Manage safety by providing education and conducting site patrols to prevent accidents
• Manage processes by planning and adjusting to shorten construction periods and avoid delays
• Arrange and manage materials and equipment, from inventory checks and delivery date adjustments to on-site placement

Requirements

• Experience in construction site management in the construction industry (no qualification required)

• Construction Management Engineer / Architect qualification

Important Details

• Schedule: 8:00-17:00 (1 hour break), average overtime of 10 hours or less per month
• Annual holidays: 120-130 days
