Construction Project Manager

This project management role focuses on construction services, overseeing every phase of projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Conduct and document project meetings with clients
• Prepare and monitor project schedules
• Perform periodic construction observation and inspection checks
• Possess basic surveying interpretation skills
• Prepare reports and correspondence
• Prepare and check quantities for measurement and payment purposes
• Prepare construction payment applications
• Negotiate and prepare construction change orders
• Review submittals and other technical data
• Proficient with construction management software for document management and scheduling
• Perform constructability reviews and value engineering studies
• Assist with Risk Management assessments
• Prepare and monitor Quality Control and Assurance Plans
• Travel occasionally to and from project sites

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
• 10+ years of experience
• 10-hour OSHA Safety course
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and SharePoint Environment
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must possess a driver -s license to fulfill the essential functions of the position

Nice to have:

• Experience working with NCDOT is strongly preferred
• Proficiency in Procore or similar CM software
