About the role
My client is looking out for a competent Construction Manager with experience in handling Pharma/Life Sciences Projects. The details as following:
Roles & Responsibilities
- On-Site Leadership: Oversee overall site management, installation, execution scheduling, and milestone tracking for Singapore-based projects.
- Regulatory & Permits: Take full ownership of Singapore authority permits and inspections (e.g., Building Plan approvals, TOP) and interface directly with regulatory officers.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with professional engineers (RE/RTO, RI), clients, main contractors, and material suppliers to resolve site issues swiftly.
- Safety & Subcontractors: Define and enforce site safety procedures while managing subcontractor performance and project status meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Building or Construction Management.
Minimum 8 years of construction management experience in the building field or pharmaceutical industry .
Deep knowledge of local Singapore construction standards, authority codes, and procurement workflows.
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends depending on site progress needs.
