Construction Manager Formwork Construction (Timber Construction)

About This Role

This role involves taking full responsibility for timber construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Manager will plan and execute special formwork, falsework, and load-bearing timber structures, overseeing sites from preparation to billing. This position suits a candidate with leadership skills and a strong understanding of timber construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in timber construction independently from A to Z
• Plan and realize special formwork, falsework, and load-bearing timber constructions
• Supervise construction sites from work preparation to execution and billing
• Lead construction site teams and coordinate subcontractors, auxiliary trades, and suppliers
• Monitor deadlines, costs, and quality, and coordinate all project stakeholders
• Act as contact person for clients, site managers, and planning offices, and ensure occupational safety on the construction site

Requirements

• Certified carpenter/joiner with further training as a timber construction manager, or equivalent experience
• Experience in formwork construction or in leading timber construction projects is a plus
• Confident and eloquent in interactions with clients, planners, or suppliers
• Proficient in calculation, execution planning, and billing
• Experience in leading construction site teams and building and engaging teams
• Strong understanding of statics and construction
• Proficient in Cadwork or willing to learn it
• Enjoys making decisions and taking responsibility for projects
