Concrete Finisher

About This Role

The Concrete Finisher smooths and finishes recently poured concrete surfaces to specified quality and textures using hand and power tools. This role is for a detail-oriented individual who wants to contribute to building infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Level and smooth edges and finishing surfaces of concrete structures
• Repair rough or defective areas within concrete surfaces, including the application of cementitious products such as cement, sand, and other pigments
• Grout and plug on surfaces, including dry packaging; and chip to prepare the finished concrete product
• Install and finish epoxy compounds on concrete surfaces using hand/power tools

Requirements

• 3-5 years of verifiable experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• May be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Good manual dexterity
• May be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
