Working as a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in completing various concrete projects, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet stringent industry standards. This position involves preparing, pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces for applications such as sidewalks, floors, driveways, and structural footings. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and inspect concrete surfaces to ensure correct placement and finishing
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete following project specifications and safety standards
• Use hand and power tools to smooth and finish concrete surfaces with precision
• Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, brushing, and stamping to achieve desired textures and patterns
• Monitor curing processes and apply sealers or other protective coatings as required
• Coordinate with other construction team members to ensure project timelines are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with all health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction
• Strong knowledge of concrete materials, finishing techniques, and curing processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to use personal protective equipment effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a construction team
