Job Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team in a collaborative composite manufacturing environment
- Work from engineering drawings, written work instructions, and process specifications to fabricate composite structures and prototype components
- Execute prepreg and wet layup fabrication techniques, including vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven or autoclave curing
- Perform resin infusion operations
- Fabricate tooling and master patterns using materials such as epoxy tooling blocks, carbon fiber, and wood
- Operate small shop power tools including saws, routers, sanders, and grinders
- Assemble composite structures, including setup, bonding, and fastener applications
- Maintain process control in support of the company's ISO Quality Management System
Qualifications And Certifications
- Supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills
- Experience with prepreg, wet layup, vacuum bag processing, bonding, oven or autoclave curing, and resin infusion
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, written work instructions, and process specifications
- Hands-on experience fabricating tooling and master patterns
- Proficiency operating small shop power tools
- Experience in composite structural assembly, setup, and fastener applications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred)
