The Opportunity
The Compliance Analyst (Fixed-Term / Backfill) role supports the Compliance function across Czech Republic and Slovakia, with exposure to selected EMEA initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the company operates in line with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and global standards, while actively supporting business growth in a highly regulated environment.

This is a one‑year fixed‑term position.
Key Responsibilities
- Support risk assessments and control activities within the global Non‑Financial Risk Management framework, including documentation and follow‑up.
- Coordinate regular compliance activities such as monitoring and testing, and prepare reports, statistics, and analyses in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to projects related to legislative changes and the implementation of new policies, standards, and procedures.
- Review, identify, and monitor activities that may not be compliant with applicable regulations or internal rules, including escalation where appropriate.
- Coordinate the preparation, update, and maintenance of internal compliance policies and guidelines.
- Provide professional compliance advice and guidance to employees on topics such as AML, GDPR, IDD, Product Oversight & Governance (POG) and related regulatory areas.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Law.
- Solid knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and integrity.
- Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate risks in a timely manner.
- Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- AI Fluency: Ability to effectively use AI tools in day-to-day work, critically evaluate outputs and apply appropriate human judgment in a regulated environment.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Compliance or Risk Management within a financial services or insurance company.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector and its regulatory environment.
- Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Interest in professional growth and continuous learning within Compliance and regulatory topics.
The expected salary range for this position is 732 000 - 960 000 CZK annually*. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.*
