Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to join our team at FirstLight Home Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that those we serve can age comfortably and with respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervisor.
- Support family caregivers by providing respite care when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or relevant training is a plus but not required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
