Vessel Lead / Company Site Representative – Offshore Decommissioning
Gippsland Basin / Bass Strait, VIC | 2:2 Roster
Start: Early October 2026
Contract: Campaign-based | 4 positions available
We are seeking experienced Vessel Leads / Company Site Representatives to join a major offshore decommissioning and removals campaign in the Gippsland Basin.
You will provide offshore leadership and company representation across platform removal, transport and load-in activities, working closely with contractor vessel management, offshore teams, project personnel and HSE/quality functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee offshore decommissioning/removal activities.
- Manage contractor interfaces and monitor performance.
- Provide safety leadership, operational assurance and field verification.
- Participate in risk assessments, JSAs, MOCs and incident investigations.
- Monitor vessel readiness, quality, compliance and work progress.
About You
- 10–15+ years' offshore construction, installation, heavy industry or decommissioning experience.
- 5+ years' offshore vessel supervision experience.
- Strong HSE, critical risk and operational assurance background.
- Heavy lift/decommissioning experience highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and contractor management skills.
Offshore activities are currently scheduled from November 2026 to February 2028 . Full Australian Working rights needed for the role.
