Qualifications This position requires proof of any combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a two-year degree with major coursework in public or business administration, communication, or a related field; previous experience with research and grant writing, or experience in nonprofit fundraising, highly desired.

This is an entry-level position that supports the district's Communication, Grants and Safe Schools teams. This position supports the district's communication, safe schools and grants teams. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and project coordination skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is:

  • A strong writer and communicator who can successfully manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities while working independently and learning new systems.
  • Possesses strong technology skills, sound judgment, initiative and the ability to remain calm and communicate clearly during urgent or emergency situations are especially important for success in this role.
  • Has experience with purchasing, budget tracking, expense reconciliation and travel coordination—or the ability to quickly learn these processes.
