Coordinating community outreach and engagement initiatives is the core purpose of this role, which involves building and maintaining relationships with community organizations and representing the company at various events. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, partners, and stakeholders to support outreach efforts and engagement initiatives
- Represent the organization at community events, meetings, educational programs, and networking opportunities
- Develop new partnerships through outreach activities, referrals, and relationship building efforts within the community
- Prepare and deliver presentations that increase awareness of programs, services, and organizational initiatives
- Support special projects, community engagement activities, and outreach campaigns while maintaining a professional presence
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with diverse audiences and community partners
- Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Maintain the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders
- Bring strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, events, and responsibilities
- Apply exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills to establish and maintain meaningful community connections
- Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information and community interactions
- Maintain a high level of initiative, accountability, and follow through when managing outreach activities and projects
- Utilize strong problem solving skills and attention to detail to support successful community engagement efforts
Nice to have:
- College degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience with customer relationship management systems, community outreach programs, nonprofit organizations, or public engagement initiatives
