Community Manager

About This Role

This role is for a Communication and Marketing Specialist for Latin America, joining the Image and Communication team in Medellín, Colombia. The specialist will develop IDOM's communication and positioning in Latin America, working directly with regional areas and coordinating with the Corporate Communication team. The role combines business vision, content generation, and channel management, adapting communication to various sectors, projects, and markets in the region.

Requirements

• Professional in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or related fields, with postgraduate studies in communication, marketing, or audiovisual media
• At least 4 years of experience in similar positions, with experience in consulting, engineering, or technical environments especially valued
• Experience in defining and executing communication and marketing strategies, as well as in creating, writing, and editing content for different audiences and channels
• Passion for transforming technical information and complex projects into clear, attractive, and high-impact content
• Combines creativity, visual judgment, and design sensitivity to develop communication pieces aligned with high quality standards
• At least 4 years of experience managing digital channels, such as websites (WordPress), social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, among others), and internal communication platforms (SharePoint)
• Developed positioning and business support materials, such as presentations, reports, commercial proposals, and corporate content
• Experience in graphic design, visual content, and audiovisual editing (video and animation)
• Interest in measuring results, analyzing the performance of communication actions, and continuously optimizing content and strategies
• Enjoys working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with different areas to identify valuable communication opportunities
• English level B2 or higher
• Likes to contribute new ideas, turn them into reality, and generate impact through communication
• Teamwork ability, autonomy and flexibility, technical rigor, and international vocation
• Eager to learn in an international company like IDOM

• Experience or knowledge in creative design
