About This Role
Leading strategic internal and external communication for the CIO Office is the core of this role, ensuring consistent positioning, alignment, and engagement across the global IT organization and key business stakeholders. The Communication Lead will also support the CIO in operational and strategic communication initiatives, including the IT Strategy initiative.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a Global CIO-led communication strategy, translating IT priorities, strategy, and transformation initiatives into clear and compelling messaging
- Design and manage internal communication channels and formats such as intranet, newsletters, townhalls, and campaigns in text and video
- Drive employee engagement and change communication, ensuring understanding and adoption of IT initiatives
- Support and align external IT communication in close collaboration with Corporate Communications
- Support and facilitate leadership workshops, global IT events, and townhalls (based in India)
- Lead selected strategic communication initiatives and transformation topics
- Ensure consistent messaging, branding, and narrative governance across all IT communication touchpoints
- Coordinate stakeholder alignment across all management levels
- Support prioritization of incoming topics and advise on communication impact and positioning
Requirements
- Internal Communications: design and deliver targeted, relevant messaging to align employees and support organizational priorities
- External Communications: develop and deliver clear, consistent messaging to external audiences
- Presentation and Persuasion: communicate complex topics clearly and influence stakeholders effectively
- Creative Thinking: generate innovative approaches and storytelling formats
- Business Relationship Management: build and sustain strong stakeholder relationships
- Project Management: support planning and execution of communication initiative and campaign material creation effectively
- Workshop Facilitation: support the design and lead engaging workshops and townhalls
- Process Management and Improvement: structure and enhance communication processes and workflows
- Generative AI Utilization: leverage AI tools to scale and improve content creation
- Experience in video/design creation on tools, such as Canvas, Adobe, etc.
- Business Language Proficiency: communicate professionally in English across all levels
- General Administrative Services: ensure structured execution of communication activities
- Travel and Event Logistics Management: coordinate high-visibility events and executive engagements
