DESCRIPTION
Our parish is seeking a creative, organized, and mission-driven Communications Coordinator to help tell the story of parish life across print, digital, web, and social media platforms. This 32-hour-per-week, benefits-eligible role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, editing, graphic design, website management, and collaborating with ministry leaders to create clear, engaging communication that connects people to the mission of the Church. Responsibilities include managing parish publications and email communication, overseeing website and social media content, supporting event promotion, maintaining communication standards and brand consistency, and helping ministries communicate effectively with parishioners and the broader community. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with strong communication and organizational skills, experience with platforms such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, and web tools, and the ability to balance creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail in a dynamic parish environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrate understanding and acceptance of Catholic doctrine.
- AA, BA or Certification in Communication, Web Design, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Graphic design, digital communication, and/or print communication.
- Demonstrated competence with multiple communication platforms including Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro (in Design) and the ability to learn other platforms quickly.
- Ability to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and an acceptable credit report.
