THE TEAM

The Culinary team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi is dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences through creativity, precision, and craftsmanship. Working across a variety of restaurants and culinary concepts, the team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and innovation.

As a Commis 1, you will report to the Junior Sous Chef and work closely with a talented team of chefs, contributing to the preparation and execution of dishes that reflect Rosewood’s commitment to culinary excellence.

YOUR ROLE

As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.

You will play an important role in maintaining food safety, consistency, and operational efficiency while assisting in the development of junior team members. Through your attention to detail, culinary skills, and commitment to excellence, you will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines
• Ensure mise en place is fully prepared and organized for all service periods
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Monitor product quality, consistency, and portion control throughout food preparation and service
• Support and guide junior culinary associates in maintaining kitchen standards and operational efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment while ensuring proper use and care of equipment
