Commercial Project Manager

About This Role

Commercial Project Managers lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, taking ownership of budgets, schedules, and cost reporting. This role involves managing subcontractors and serving as the main point of contact for owners and design teams, suiting a professional with a strong background in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own project budgets, schedules, and monthly cost reporting
• Buy out subcontracts and manage subcontractor performance
• Partner closely with the field team to keep projects safe, on schedule, and on budget
• Serve as the main point of contact for owners and design teams

Requirements

• 4-10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects with a General Contractor
• Experience managing commercial projects up to $15M across a diverse mix of project types (office, retail, healthcare, education, industrial, or tenant improvement)
• Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
• Experience managing subcontractors, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Excellent relationship-building with owners, architects, and trade partners
