As our Commercial Operations Assistant Manager – Direct Material, you’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to achieving procurement excellence and driving optimal supplier performance. What You’ll Do
As our Commercial Operations Assistant Manager – Direct Material , your key responsibilities will include:
- Portfolio & Budget Management – Manage the direct material portfolio and Annual Execution Plan budget, tracking purchase price variance and identifying mitigation strategies.
- Sourcing Strategy Execution – Partner with strategic sourcing to analyze market price trends and gather industry insights to establish accurate price forecasts and standard costs.
- Supplier Relationship Management – Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, leading price negotiations, establishing Master Service Agreements, and monitoring supplier reliability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Coordinate with Supply Chain, R&D, and SQA to execute product launches, ensure raw material availability, and drive value leadership programs.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Relevant Experience – Minimum 5 years of working experience in Commercial, Procurement, or Business/Supply Chain management roles within complex environments.
- Key Skills – Strong negotiation capabilities, stakeholder engagement, market trend analysis, budget management, and end-to-end supply chain optimization.
- Soft Skills – Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams and drive collaboration
- Qualifications – A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, alongside fluency in English and the ability to travel 30-40%.
