About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day As a Commercial Officer for our Taiwan Service Operations Team, you will be a true commercial partner to the District Service Manager - shaping and executing strategy, driving performance, and enabling sustainable growth. A typical day includes commercial operations and business controlling responsibilities, providing transparency and decision support for the Service Operations organization, and translating financial results into clear insights that guide operational decisions.

You will be part of the Regional Service Unit finance team, drive process improvements and operational excellence, and strengthen business continuity through robust controls, effective forecasting, and disciplined investment management.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Partner with the District Service Manager and build positive relationships to win the trust of collaborators through respectful, agile, accountable behavior when interacting with colleagues, business partners and Siemens Energy local and global communities.
  • Own commercial operations for inbound and outbound field service personnel and tool rental activities, including internal quotations, bookings and settlements, while ensuring compliance with financial, tax and internal policy requirements.
  • Monitor Service Operations cost center performance against budget, analyze variances and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support operational decisions, cost optimization.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly rolling forecast for field service personnel utilization, cost center absorption, headcount and other KPIs to facilitate operational excellence.
  • Support annual budget planning cycle, charging rates calculation, and provide financial scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support management decision-making for ramp-up activities.
  • Support CAPEX planning and investment management. Coordinate procurement activities for service tools, equipment and operational assets. Monitor delivery status, capitalization process and asset utilization and provide regular reports.
  • Drive the standardization and optimization of financial processes and systems (SAP and related tools) and collaborate with technical partners to realize operational efficiency.

What You Bring Required knowledge/skills, education, and experiences to be considered for this position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of finance/commercial/accounting/controlling experience; experience in cost center controlling preferred.
  • Strong capability in financial management, cost accounting, budgeting/forecasting, internal controls, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with SAP and financial reporting tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting or analytics tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams, peers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the confidence to challenge the status quo constructively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
