Commercial Lines Client Manager

About This Role

This position serves as the primary service contact for a book of select commercial clients, focusing on client satisfaction and strategic planning under the guidance of a service manager. The role involves consistently providing excellent customer service leadership to accounts and representing client needs within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Contact incumbent carrier to adjust for changes in exposures
• Obtain information from clients, analyze risk, and apply technical expertise to make recommendations
• Determine markets within the Core Carrier Strategy
• Create and submit complete carrier submissions
• Obtain signed binding and notify carriers
• Review binding documents for accuracy
• Set up and maintain accurate account details, contacts, and policy information in EPIC
• Process renewals, endorsements, acknowledgments, cancellations, and proofs of insurance
• Attach, organize, and name documents in EPIC
• Leverage templates and system-generated letters and forms to produce standard communications to clients and carriers, including BOR, client pre-renewal letters, proposal letters, change requests, etc.
• Order loss runs, generate proofs and endorsements, and conduct audit reviews
• Maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and colleagues
• Obtain firsthand customer information and use it for improvements in placements and services
• Provide consultation on coverage needs
• Achieve day-to-day objectives within the context of specified solutions
• Consistently perform and produce quality work, understand the urgency in various tasks, and consistently meet timelines
• Be proficient in self-serve portals and manage client training and utilization
• Follow a well-established set of activities
• Solve difficult problems that are not routine, but not overly complex
• Work in a fast-paced environment with some instruction and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in Property and Casualty with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages
• State Property & Casualty insurance license
• Functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting, and evaluating formulas and working within templates
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and other MS Office products
• Proficient in agency management systems (EPIC) and carrier sites
• Viewed as a team player and is cooperative and collaborative
• Understanding of guaranteed cost program design and coverage forms
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
