Commerce Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a Commerce Solutions Engineer to support clients with advanced technical implementations, integrations, and platform configurations. This role combines technical problem-solving, customer support, and solution design, helping customers maximize the value of e-commerce and financial system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement customized solutions beyond standard platform capabilities.
- Configure and maintain account mappings, tax logic, product categorization, and financial data flows.
- Support integrations between e-commerce, accounting, ERP, and SaaS platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and coordinate with Product and Engineering teams for resolution.
- Lead technical onboarding and provide ongoing support to customers.
- Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to improve support quality and efficiency.
- Identify product improvements and share customer insights with internal teams.
Requirements
- Experience in technical support, solutions engineering, implementation, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, financial systems, or ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, SaaS applications, and system integrations.
- Understanding of APIs, Java, JavaScript, scripting, or debugging concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with ticketing and support platforms such as Jira, Intercom, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Comfortable working with AI-enabled tools and modern customer support technologies.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting accounting software, financial applications, e-commerce solutions, or ERP integrations.
