Job Summary
DIHO CONSULTING USA is hiring experienced combo welders for shop work involving the fabrication of shell and tube heat exchangers and pressure vessels. This position requires hands-on experience with TIG, Stick and Flux Core welding and the ability to produce quality welds that meet code requirements in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG (GTAW), Stick (SMAW), And Flux Core welding on carbon and stainless steel
- Weld in multiple positions including 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 6G when required
- Read and follow blueprints, weld procedures, and job specifications
- Assist with fabrication and assembly of pressure vessels and exchanger components
- Maintain weld quality to meet X-ray and inspection standards
- Follow all shop safety rules and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of combo welding experience
- Experience working with pressure vessels, exchangers, or piping preferred
- Familiarity with ASME code is a plus
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Reliable, able to work overtime, and comfortable in a shop environment
Pay and Schedule
- Hourly pay ranges depending on experience and weld test results
- Full-time hours with overtime available
