As a Collision Repair and Refinishing Specialist, you will play a vital role in restoring vehicle aesthetics and structural integrity through expert bodywork and precision paint application. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes that meet rigorous production standards while ensuring every vehicle is ready for the road.
Responsibilities
- Execute complex body repairs including panel replacement, structural alignment, and meticulous surface preparation.
- Operate professional spray equipment to apply primers, base coats, and clear coats for a flawless, durable finish.
- Utilize advanced color-matching techniques to ensure seamless integration and consistent aesthetic quality.
- Perform comprehensive quality inspections to identify and rectify surface imperfections such as runs or fisheyes.
- Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace while strictly adhering to hazardous material handling and environmental safety protocols.
- Coordinate with cross-functional production teams to ensure project timelines and delivery schedules are consistently met.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional experience in automotive body repair or refinishing.
- Proficiency with modern paint systems, spray booth equipment, and body shop tools.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex surface defects.
- Must successfully pass a mechanical aptitude assessment.
