Collections Specialist - Hybrid

This collections specialist role involves contacting business customers regarding overdue balances and resolving invoicing issues. It suits a professional with a background in B2B collections and accounting, who can work independently to reconcile accounts.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers on past due balances via email and phone
• Listen, identify, and document invoicing issues and communicate them to internal stakeholders
• Research and reconcile debits/credits and payments on customer accounts
• Deal with upset customers in a professional manner
• Resolve past due balances without assistance from the Manager after training

Requirements

• 2-5 years of commercial (B2B) collection experience
• Background in accounting to support research on debit/credits on customers' accounts
• Ability to be self-motivated after training
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic commands for statement reconciliation)
• Accounting understanding
• Bill collections experience
• Microsoft Outlook Applications
• Good communication skills

Nice to have:

• SAP experience
• GetPaid collection experience
• College degree or 2-5 years' experience

Important Details

• Duration: 6 months contract on W2 (possible extension)
